June, July and August are the three months of the year when it’s all about being outdoors. The weather is bright and warm and people are looking for great days out and events. They are also the cocktail months where they can be enjoyed in the garden, at parties and on the beach!
If you are struggling to think of something fun to do in July we have compiled some great British events that there is still time to get tickets for.
1 – 14 July
The Championships, Wimbledon, commonly known simply as Wimbledon, is the oldest tennis tournament in the world, and is regarded by many as the most prestigious. It has been held at the All England Clubin Wimbledon, London, since 1877 and is played on outdoor grass courts.
The 2019 Wimbledon Championships is scheduled to take place at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in Wimbledon, London.
Novak Djokovic and Angelique Kerber are the defending champions in the single competitions.
With plenty of sun and time watching the games it’s an ideal time to try one of our cocktail kits or gin sets!
F1 World Championship British Grand Prix
12 – 14 July
The British Grand Prix is possibly a tie for the biggest thing to happen in July. The jewel in the crown of British Motorsports, Silverstone is a fast circuit with a series of complex high-speed turns, and a short straight to add to the excitement. Average cornering speeds are higher than at any other championship racetrack.
The Royal Welsh Show
22 – 25 July
A major event in the British agricultural calendar, the Royal Welsh Show consists of four days of livestock competitions and wide range of activities including forestry, horticulture, crafts, entertainment, attractions, displays, countryside sports, and shopping. If you can’t make it to the show you should be able to watch it’s coverage on BBC2!
